JENNIE Garth was rocked to the core when Peter Facinelli asked her for a divorce.
Peter recently filed papers at Los Angeles County Superior Court to dissolve his 11-year union with the former Beverly Hills 90210 actress but Jennie admitted she was “resistant” when the Twilight star first suggested they should split.
“I was very resistant. I didn’t want it to happen. It took me some time to come to peace with it,” she said.
“I’ve gone through my darkest parts and I’m coming out of it. I’m OK. I don’t know what the future holds, but then I’ve never been a planner. And maybe that’s a good thing.”
